Skin Care Products
Today when I went to the store I noticed a lot of different things while looking around in the skin care section. As I was looking around in the skin care section I was reading all the different products and what they had to offer that another product may not offer, As I was reading all the bottles of cream it started to come very confusing on which cream was truly the best for me, because they all started to say the the same thing on the package and that there all #1. I was really confused while looking at the creams because truly there must be one cream that is better for me than another. So as I continued to look at all the shelves I started to get a headache and get overwhelmed, because I only came in to get a cream that would be good for acne and dry skin, but instead I'm looking at tons of shelves that all have very similar products with very small differences. Finally I got tired of reading the back of each bottle, so I decided to go with the brand that I have heard a lot about from friends instead of making the decision on my own, just because it was easier to do. I did notice though that when I was looking at different products that the ones that stood out to me from a physical appearance were the bottles that were very bright and clean looking and looked like something a young adult would enjoy using.
My Daily Acne Treatment Routine!
When I wake up in the morning I first use a sterilized pad to clean my face and get all the dirt off my face from the night. Then I use Olay moisturizer cream, which I rub in and then let dry. After that I use Bare Minerals make-up before rushing of the school for a crazy day. When I get to school 2 hours later i start to notice my face turning red and dry. At that point there is usually nothing I can put on during the day without being noticeable. After school I got to the gym and then come home and take a shower. After getting out of the shower I use a sterile pad again to get all the dirt and grime of my face and then use Olay moisturizer on my face. After using Olay I use this cream for dryness around my nose for dry skin. That is usually all the skincare treatment I do in a day. Now that is my typical routine, but when I start to notice acne I come a lot more cautious about taking care of my skin. In my opinion acne is one of the worst things to have as a physical appearance. When acne appears i tend to feel a lot less confident, ugly, and self conscious. When Acne starts to appear I use this cream called
"On the Spot" where I apply a dot of cream to the spot where there is acne. I have used this cream many times and sometimes has worked great and other times not so much. My ultimate product would be a product that is combined to treat many things all in one and is clear when you apply to your face instead of a cream that is white. If there was a product out there like what I described I could see this being very popular and high in demand!

My Facial Skin
My facial skin is very interesting and has a lot of different things going on, on my face. In the morning when i wake up my skin is very irritated in red from any type of moisturizer i use. I have tried many different types of moisturizers and whatever one I pick my skin gets very irritated and red. To help treat the redness I have tried everything you can possibly think of like over the counter creams and also creams from the drug store. Also in the morning when i wake up i have very dry and flaky skin especially around my nose. From an appearance stand point it looks awful and makes me feel very self cautious about myself! Another issue that comes from having irritated red skin and dry and flaky skin is that when I apply make-up it makes my skin even drier and flakier than before, but for me make-up is a must. As the day goes on my skin starts to get very oily and flaky and I become very pale except for the red and blotchy areas on certain areas on my faces. Having all these issues on my face makes me feel very self conscious and insecure with my physical appearance of my face.I feel that I experience a lot of acne and dry skin on my face. The acne i get appears a lot around the edge of my hairline and on the outline of my face. As dry skin goes I get a lot around the creases in my nose and also on the edge of my hair line. But I would say the worst is around my nose. I experience acne and dry skin about 3 to 4 times a week with using creams every night and morning. In the morning I wake up like 10 minutes before I would usually have to, to work on cleaning my face up for the day and making it presentable and pretty. My facial skin causes a lot of self confidence and insecurities for me on a day to day basis. To feel confident and beautiful inside and out, you need to actually believe it and a big part is feeling good on your face. When people meet you for the first time the first thing people usually notice is your face!
HI, My name is Robyn and i live in Atlanta, GA. I'm 18 years old and a senior at Riverwood International Charter School. I am very outgoing and friendly and love to make friends with everyone i meet. I have tons of confidence, but tend to lack confidence on the days i wake up and my skin is all red and blotchy and breaking out. For fun I love to play Lacrosse for my school team and have been playing Lacrosse for the past 6 years. Ever since i was a little kid i have always been very athletic and into playing group sports like softball, soccer, tennis, and basketball. I also enjoy cooking and experimenting knew recipes and then sharing them with my loved ones. My friends would describe me as a very outgoing, funny and bubbly person who loves to please everyone around her. Last thing you should know about me is that I LOVE LIVING LIFE TO THE FULLEST!
